Late Bloomer taps into assumed expressions of masculinity, played out by two trans masculine individuals. Eventually, their lives collide—finding themselves in support of one another.

Xafiér Yap (b. 1998) is a re-packager, an inbetween of pre-writer and post-reader; They draw from different sources of information to build a world that is plausible. Their artworks explore the potentiality of sincere investments such as alternative kinships and entanglements (and all the embarrassments!) of the human condition.
Kai is a visual artist whose practice shifts between drawing, printed matter, sculpture and installation. They are invested in how shapes, forms and objects encounter one another in both concrete and metaphorical terms. They see their art practice as a process and tool to reflect on existing support systems (or lack thereof); to locate strength, shifts and imbalances in exchange.
